Co-founder/Veterinarian
Growing up with a farmful of animals, showing horses and helping with dog rescue, Dr. Kellar undoubtedly knew which career path she would follow - a veterinarian. When asked what she would do if she didn’t become a veterinarian, the simple answer was “its not an option, I WILL become a veterinarian.” Never wavering from that path, she graduated in 2006 and went into mixed animal veterinary practice. She has been happily living her dream ever since. Thankfully this path has led her to her biggest dream and passion - The Outskirts of Heaven.
Dr. Kellar received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Washington State University. Once she completed her time at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kellar spent a year at Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine and earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She has been working in small and mixed animal practice since graduating.
Dr. Kellar provides veterinary care to all of our residents at the Outskirts of Heaven. She also oversees the animal enrichment program and sets up individualized meal plans.
In her free time, Dr. Kellar spends quality time with her husband, 4 children and her menagerie of dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, pigs and chickens. She enjoys spending time outdoors, boating, traveling and camping.
